Berry

About Berry
With its historic buildings and leafy surrounds, Berry is a delightful village to visit year-round. In the Shoalhaven wine region on the South Coast of NSW, Berry is a favourite place for holidaymakers seeking a less hectic lifestyle but who still want to enjoy some of the attractions of city living.
Berry is about two hours’ drive south of Sydney and at the end of the Grand Pacific Drive, a spectacular coastal road route. You can also take the train from Sydney’s Central Station to Berry. The train journey is 2h 40min, a leisurely way to see the gorgeous coast and escarpment.
The town has all the essential ingredients of an urban lifestyle, including attractive places to stay, arts, crafts and design outlets, and several delectable restaurants, cafés and gourmet shops.
Browse through the Berry Produce Market, held twice a month on the second Saturday and fourth Sunday from 8am to 2pm. Nestled among Berry's shops on Queen Street, the boutique market offers a variety of stalls selling handcrafted and specialty items, and organic fruits and vegetables.
For other handmade goods, visit the Berry Country Fair, held on the first Sunday of every month at the Berry Showground. Purchase local honey, bargain-priced antiques and choose from a range of flowers.
Just nine minutes’ drive from Berry is Seven Mile Beach National Park, a small coastal park packed with plenty of things to see and do including great surf. Pack a picnic and use the barbecue amenities. You can also learn to surf at Surf Camp Australia.
