Hunter Valley Gardens

Among the vineyards and wineries is the beautiful Hunter Valley Gardens. Stroll on the paths and explore the manicured gardens. You’ll discover 10 themed gardens, including a children’s storybook garden, and a delightful restaurant.

A popular destination for weddings, Hunter Valley Gardens has more than 8 km of paths over 24 tranquil hectares. You’ll be enchanted by the fragrances and colours of the gardens, and you can amble through one of Australia’s finest rose gardens.

With a spectacular backdrop of the Broken Back Range, the gardens also include the Italian grotto, Indian mosaic and Oriental gardens. Enjoy the casual atmosphere of The Garden Terrace restaurant and café, which has splendid views of the Oriental garden.

In the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, the gardens also host impressive events including a Christmas Lights Spectacular. Open daily from 9am to 5pm, except 25 December. From Sydney, the drive to the Hunter Valley Gardens is two hours.
